Thelma Burdge Jackson, of Manasquan, died Sunday at Sunnyside Nursing Home in Manasquan. She was 100 years old. A housewife and lifelong Shore area resident, she was born in Herbertsville, Brick, before moving to Manasquan in 1922. On July 17 [1998] she celebrated her 100th birthday.
Her husband Andrew S. died in 1991, and her daughter, Betty Rose Jackson in 1987. She is survived by a son Vernon A. of LaConner Washington, and a daughter Irma Jackson of Manasquan. Relatives and friend as invited to attend the graveside services 10:30am Thursday Atlantic View Cemetery, Manasquan. The Rev. Brian Eble will officiate. Funeral Home Wall is in charge of arrangements.
