Jess Leon Gunn, 72, died Thursday, August 8, 1974, in Clovis, New Mexico.
He was a retired farmer and had been a resident of Roosevelt County since 1906. Jess was also a member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by his widow, Willie; a son, G. A. Gunn of Fort Sumner; four daughters: Bonita Maurine Tanner and Barbara Lynn Bookout, of Clovis; Jessamine Florene Van Wrinkle, of Splendora, TX; and Mrs. Danny Pounds, of Lubbock, TX; 15 grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; a brother, Frank, of Visalia, CA; and three sisters, Mrs. Walter Griffith, Wilma Katherine Eminger and Fannie Cochrain, all of Porlales.
