LAFAYETTE, AL -- Mrs. Lois Allen Phillips of LaFayette died Thursday, January 16, 2003 in Alexander City, AL.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2003 at LaFayette Heights Baptist Church with Rev Paul Howard officiating. Burial followed at LaFayette City Cemetery.
Mrs. Phillips is survived by her daughter, Kay P. Ingle of Jackson Gap, AL; three sons, Mitchell Phillips of College Park, GA, Harry Phillips of LaFayette, AL and Larry Phillips of Lanett, AL; her sister, Wyllowdean Hendricks of Dadeville, AL; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Born October 25, 1916 in Chambers County, AL, Mrs. Phillips was retired from the Chambers County Commission Office. She was a member of LaFayette Heights Baptist Church.
Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her husband, former Chambers County Sheriff Ray Mitchell Phillips.
