Ruth Caudill buried at Mayking

Ruth Brown Caudill, 83, died April 20 at her home at Whitco.

Born at Mayking to the late Bob and Ellen Webb Polly, she was the widow of Estill Brown, and was later married to Charles Caudill, who survives her.

She was the mother of the late Sharon Celestena Stallard.

She was a member of the Mayking Old Regular Baptist Church, and was retired from Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital after 31 years.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a brother, Wiley Polly of Payne Gap; a sister, Ritter Cook, Norton, Va.; a grandchild, Tommy Brashears and wife Debbie of Whitesburg; and two great-grandchildren, Chase and Blake Brashears, both of Whitesburg.

Funeral services were held April 22 at Everidge Funeral Home in Whitesburg. Burial was in Webb Cemetery at Mayking.
