"MASSENGILL, MRS. RUTH MAE,
37, died 10:45 a.m. Thursday after a lingering illness. Survivors: husband, E. H. Massengill, Jefferson City; three daughters, Mrs. Edward Gass, Jefferson City; Mrs. Eugene Strange, Knoxville; Miss Janice Eloise Massengill at home; son, James D. Massengill at home; one grandchild, Ladona Jean Gass; father, James Galyon, Maryland; two brothers, Roy G. and William, both of Maryland. Funeral, 2 p.m. Sunday, Flat Gap Baptist Church, Revs. Leamon and Cockrum officiating. Interment in churcch cemetery. Body will be moved from Farrar Funeral Home to the church one hour before services. Farrar's, Jefferson City, in charge."
