MICHAEL A. TEAGUE, 57, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2013, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Michael worked as a route salesman with Cintas for 38 years where he won salesman of the year more than once and a fondly remembered trip to Cancun, Mexico. He was a member of the Teamsters and the Sons of the American Legion Post 241. He lived for the time he spent on Coldwater Lake. Known as a rebel, upon graduating from high school he hitchhiked to California and then flew to Hawaii. Upon his return, he ventured to Idaho to watch Evel Knievel attempt to jump the Snake River Canyon. There is photographic evidence for any doubters.
He would do anything for you; just ask any of his many friends. Mike was a huge fan of NASCAR and "Da Bears" along with I.U., his TR and his beloved cat, P.T. Surviving are his; brother, Ed (Dorothy) Teague of Coldwater, Mich.; sister, Marilyn Groves of Fort Wayne; brother, Bill Teague of Fort Wayne; many nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by parents, Chester and Lena Mae Teague; brother, Don Teague; sister, Guyla Haynes; and brother, Dennis Teague. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2013, at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave., with calling one hour prior. The Rev. Paul C. Paino officiating.
