Mrs. Bobbie was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and was always doing for others. She loved fishing, camping, canning and going to the Farmers Market, and going to the Golden Club activities. Mrs. Bobbie was the oldest member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and was a very faithful to her church.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Grayson Everett in 1974 and her second husband Jim Holbrooks in 2007. Survivors include children Barbara and Charles Free of Blairsville, GA, Betty Bishop of Fayetteville, GA and Wayne and Jannie Everett of Blairsville, GA; step-sons Carroll Holbrooks and Earl and Debbie Holbrooks both of Ellijay, GA; sisters Nora Rogers of Dalton, GA and Donna Starnes of Mobile, AL; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Mountain View Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Beavers and Rev. Steve Ware officiating. Music was by the Kelley Trio and Evan Hughes. Pallbearers were James Duncan, Curtis Mason, Don Rogers, Ernest Rogers, Garrett Christopher and Scott Christopher. Honorary pallbearers were Pat Phillips, Rufus Everett and Ronnie Christopher. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church cemetery.
