Mrs. Rae Kline, 75, of Route 1,
Smithsburg, died Friday, April 25, at
Washington County Hospital. She was
the wife of the late Arthur F. Kline, who
died hi 1962.
Born Jan. 13, 1911, in Wolfsville, she
was a daughter of the late John W. and
Ada Alice Harshman Brandenburg.
She was a member of St. Mark's
Lutheran Church hi Wolfsville.
She is survived by two daughters,
Phillis R. Keller, Martinsburg, W.Va.,
and Joyce E. Grove, Smithsburg; four
sons, Milton E. Kline, George E. Kline
and Bill D. Kline, all of Smithsburg, and
Carroll L. Kline, Seminole, Okla.; one
sister, Maudie M. Brandenburg,
Smithsburg; one brother, Archie M.
Brandenburg, Braddock Heights; 19
grandchildren; and 15 greatgrandchildren.
The family will receive friends 7-9
p.m. Monday, April 28, at the Davis
Funeral Home in Smithsburg. There
will be a viewing at the church one hour
prior to services at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at
St Mark's Lutheran Church, with the
pastor, David D. Howell, officiating.
Interment will be in the adjoining
church cemetery.
