Mr. Tommy Earl "Pete" Milam, 52, formerly of Deport, died Friday, April 5, 2013 at his residence in Paris. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Highland Cemetery with the Rev. L.C. Stout officiating under the direction of Wood Funeral Homes of Deport. The family will receive friends at 7-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Milam was born Feb. 27, 1961, in Deport, the son of Henry Hurston and Annie Farris Milam.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, Betty Joyce Barnett, Patsy Waggner, Mary Cannon and Melinda Anderson.
He is survived by a daughter, Samantha Milam of Dallas; a sister, Martha Harris of Paris; five brothers, Larry Milam and wife, Elaine of Deport, Henry W. Milam and wife, Kathy, of Paris, Delbert Milam and wife, Gayle, of Sulphur Springs, Johnny Wayne Milam of Sylvan and Donnie Milam and wife, Betty, of Deport.
