Civil War Veteran Dies Nicholas Van Horn, a former resident of Shickshinny, died at the Soldiers' Home at Hampton, Va., and the body was buried at Pine Hill Cemetery near Shickshinny on Wednesday. The deceased was born in Salem, this county, and was in his 75th year. He was a member of the 143d Pennsylvania Regiment during the Civil War.
