Ardeen Fenstermacher

Ardeen Fenstermacher, 91, of Cozad, died Sunday, April 1, 2007, at Cozad.

Visitation was Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at the Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad.

Services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday (today), April 4, 2007, at Parkview United Methodist Church in Cozad with the Rev. Jaime Farias officiating.

Burial will be in the Cozad Cemetery.

Berryman Funeral Home of Cozad is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include one daughter, Erlene (Howard) Davis of Arapahoe; two sons, Robert (Louise) Fenstermacher of Kingman, Ariz., and Roger (Patty) Fenstermacher of Cozad; seven grandchildren, Deb, Shawn, Joda, Amber, Crista, Stacy and Eric; nine great-grandchildren, Bryan, Carrick, Kaycia, Belle, Nichole, Amelia, Olivia, Elaina and Christopher; and one great-great-grandson, Zakkary.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2006; a sister, Wilma and her husband, Carl Andres; an infant sister; a brother, Donald and his wife, Geraldine Adamson; and a grandson-in-law, Tom Hagan.

Ardeen was born Dec. 2, 1915, at Cozad, to Roy and Bertha "Whaley" Adamson. She grew up on the family farmstead north of Cozad. When she came of age to attend high school, she went to live with her grandparents in Lexington and attended school, graduating from Lexington High School in 1933.

On March 21, 1934, Ardeen married W. Earl Fenstermacher and the couple made their home north of Cozad where they were engaged in farming.

She was a member of Parkview United Methodist Church and did volunteer work through the church and also at the Golden LivingCenter in Cozad.
