Paul William Tressler, 62, husband of the former Genevieve Jane Livelsberger, 623 South St., McSherrystown, died suddenly Tuesday evening at 9:15 o'clock as he was visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bollinger, 273 Third St., McSherrystown.
Dr. Donald Withers, York County coroner, said death was caused by a heart attack.
Mr. Tressler was an electrician, employed by Swam Electric Co., Hanover.
He was the son of the late Charles and Alice Wisotzkey Tressler, and in addition to his widow, is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mary Feldman and a brother, Joseph, both of Hanover.
He was a member of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, McSherrystown; Holy Name Society and the Knights of the Columbus, Home Associations of McSherrystown and Honver Moose and the Eagles of Hanover, and the Eagles Fire Co.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning with prayers at 8:30 o'clock at the Walters Funeral Home followed by a Requiem Mass at 9 o'clock at the Church, Msgr. Patrick F. McGee will be the celebrant. Burial will be in the Conewago Chapel Cemetery.
