Albert Christian Birr, who had been living a short distance northeast of the city limits, died Tuesday evening at about 5 o'clock, after an illness of over a year. Deceased was born in Germany on Dec. 23rd, 1849, and thus reached the age of 68 years, 3 months and 17 days.
Besides his wife he leaves one daughter, Mrs. Christ. Bruni of this city.
The funeral takes place tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 from the late home, with interment in Graceland cemetery.
