Edward F. Maskus, 76,died at Trinity Hospital after being in the hospital for a week. He was born to William and Anna Maskus in Iowa Park,Texas.

The family came to Hodgeman county when he was one year old. He and Elsie Eichman were married Jan.10,1934 in the old St. Michael's Lutheran Church northwest of Dodge City in Hodgeman county.

He was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Dodge City Kansas.

Survivors are wife,Elsie, sons: Larry of Independence,Ks and Fred of Dodge City,KS; one daughter, Nancy(Duane)Bogner of Colby,KS; three brothers, Herman of Genoa,Colo, Gus of Dodge City and George of Jetmore,Ks; two sisters,Tina Murphy and Clara Durr of Dodge city and five grandchildren.
