ALBERT W. CAVER, age 82,a resident of the Independence Community,Autauga County AL, expired on March 14, 2011.Visitation will be held on Friday, March 18 from6-8PM at Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church. Funeralservices will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 12PM at the Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church,764 County Road 33, Prattville AL 36067. Interment willtake place in the church cemetery with Davis Funeral Home directing. Deacon Caver was born on December 3, 1928 tothe late Willie and Annie Crawford Caver. He waspreceded in death by one son, Albert (Pete) Jr., his brothers, Lurlie and Lee Grant Caver and sisters, Lillie Mae DeBardelabenand Sadie Robinson. He confessed Christ at anearly age joining the Bethesda Baptist church and serving until his health failed. Mr. Caver leaves to cherish his memories adevoted wife of 61 years,Thelma; Seven daughters,Mary Ann (William)Armstrong, Melvia (William)Golson, Linda (Charles)Averhart, Afiya (Carolyn)(Wekessa) Madzimoyo,Ruby Marks, Hope (Jeffery)Davis and Mildred Chestnut; two sons, Joseph(Mary) Caver and Eric(Mia) Caver; Seventeen grandchildren Fredrick(Ricky) Rogers, Melody Golson, William (Ashley)Golson Jr, Christopher(Stephanie) Caver, Andre Chestnut, Herman Ashton Barnette, Summer and Charles Averhart (II),Robert and Rosa Bethune,Ashley Caver, Sarafina, Ife,Ayinde and Chinua Madzimoyo, Jhaslyn and Hallie Davis; and eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews,other relatives, and very devoted friends. His body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral services inthe church.
