Eloise Johnson Sholes, 72, of Winchester, Virginia, died April 11, 2005 at her home. She was born Oct. 18, 1932 in Weston, West Virginia, a daughter of the late J. Edgil and Beatrice Bay Johnson. On November 13, 1948, she married Franklin Lewis Sholes, who preceded her in death March 18, 2005. She is survived by a daughter, Darlene Wheeler, a son, Bruce Sholes ; two brothers, Eldon E. Johnson of Buckhannon and Darrell G. Johnson of Virginia; one sister, L. Eileene Johnson of Winchester. She worked at the Weston National Bank in Weston, West Virginia for several years. She was employed as a loan officer for First Virginia Bank in Winchester, Virginia. Friends may call 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Jones Funeral Home, Rev. Dr. Richard W. Reifsnyder will officiate.
