He was a life long resident of Lewiston, ME and was educated at ST Mary's School.

He is survived by two daughters Mrs Robert (Lillian) Beaulieu and Mrs Emile (Cecile) Poliquin both of Lewiston; four brothers Lucien, Albert and Ernest all of Lewiston, and Roland of Lisbon, ME.
