Vincent Lynch, formerly of McMinnville Oregon, age 93; died on March 28, 2013 at Kindred Transitional Care & Rehabilitation in Auburn, California.
Vincent, son of Michael and Ellen Lewell Lynch, was born on November 12, 1919 in Red Lodge, Montana. Vincent spent his youth in Montana where he learned the carpentry trade. He served in the US Navy from 1942 - 1945 serving in World War II. Following his discharge from the Navy he returned to Montana where he owned and operated Lynch Construction. He worked in Nevada, California, Washington, North Dakota, and then back to Sparks Nevada as a carpenter until 1984, when he moved to Oregon where he retired. He married Mary Anne Boyle on June 24, 1950 in Roundup Montana. He was later married to Eleneta (Drane) Ware for two years.
Vincent was a member of the Carpenters and Joiners Union, Knights of Columbus, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Old Time Fiddlers Association.
He is survived by his son Patrick; grandchildren ; brother Robert Lynch and sister Dorothy Hines. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be at St. James Church on Friday on April 5, 2013 with interment at St. James Catholic Cemetery.
