This is the transcription from the front and back of the stone for Frederick Eisenhauer:

FREDERICK EISENHAUER - a Soldier of the Revolution. While serving with the 13th Pennsylvania Continental Regiment under the command of General George Washington, Pvt. Eisenhauer was killed in action at the Battle of Germantown on October 4, 1777. Washington withdrew leaving his dead (including Frederick Eisenhauer) on the battlefield. Buried where he fell by the British, his final resting place is known but to God.

"A Patriot"

Because no remains can be buried with his marker: At the base of his gravestone lies soil from: Swatara, Pa.; Salem Row Lutheran Church, Sellingsgrove, Pa.; Battle sites of Brandywine and Germantown; Philadelphia residences of President Washington and Col. Walter Sewart plus Constitution Hall. His stone will eternally rest beside his direct descendent whose own war was in a far away Asian land called Vietname - A kinship in heredity and a kindred spirit in answering a call to arms.

The ideals of our freedom is paid for with the blood of our soliders
