She m1. 1901 in Peabody to Walter Frye Caverly of Salem. They divorced and she m2. 1911 in Peabody to Louis P. A. Pelletier. They moved before 1920 to Wadsworth Street, Danvers, and they summered, and later lived, in Lincolnville, Maine, where they were living when he passed on. Afterwards, Ethel returned to Danvers, living on Charter Street.

Her first husband also remarried, had a second family, divorced, and remarried one more time, and this wife passed away in Boston. He apparently lived in Fairfax, Virginia, during the war. By 1949, he boarded with Ethel, now in Danvers. He later passed on, most likely in Oct. 1965, in Grafton, Mass.
