Phyllis' parents were Glen Wells Beckwith and Hazel Marie Bicknell Beckwith. Phyllis was their 2nd of 6 children. Phyllis grew up in Michigan, married, and had 3 daughters. She moved to El Paso, Texas in 1968. She devoted her life to nursing. She was working as the Materials manager of the operating room at R.E. Thomason General Hospital in El Paso at the time of her death. She loved to collect antiques.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 22, 1994 at the Sunset Funeral Home 750 N. Carolina Dr. El Paso, Texas.
