Born in Union County; son of Mrs. Mabel Blalock Bell of Union and the late Parker Bell; retired U.S.A.F. M/Sgt., veteran of the Korean and Vietnam conflicts; member of American Legion, John A. Fant Masonic Lodge, Union Elk Lodge, Moose Lodge, V.F.W. Post No. 3835 in Panama Canal Zone; member of Union Country Club.
Also surviving: daughters, Amy and Cindy Bell of the home; sister, Mrs. Johnnie B. Calvert of Turberville; brother, Haze Bell of Union.
Services 3 today at Hebron Baptist Church by the Revs. Kelly Weeks and Joe Bridges; burial in church cemetery with military rites.
Pallbearers: Howard, Cecil, Fred, Clyde, Jack and Bill O'Dell.
Body in church at 2.
