Widely Known Cartersburg Man Dies
Death last Sunday morning claimed Elbridge Hudson Lamb at his home near Cartersburg. Mr.lamb was know to many as "Daddy" Lamb. Death was due to complication of diseasses arising from advanced age. He was 72 years old and had lived in Cartersburg neighborhood for many years.He was a native of the Mill Creek community and was born May 18, 1854. Throughout his life he followed farming as a vocation. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon from Cartersburg Methodist church and burial was in Spring Hill cemetery.Surviving are the widow, four sons and three daughters, all residing near Cartersburg.
