He was an illegitimate son born previous to Clara & Levi's marriage. He was treated very poorly by Levi and died young (19). Nobody I asked in our family could remember his name, age, grave location, etc. He did not speak till an advanced age. Clara had been a maid for the Studebaker family (later of the automobile maker fame) and the rumor was that this child was fathered by one of the sons. Most likely are (George M or Clement, by ages.) "Hurley" is also a name used later by the Studebaker family. He died of tuberculosis in the Indiana Home for Feeble Minded Youth, Ft Wayne, Allen, IN. His obit. states IN State Anatomical Board for burial location.
