On the morning of February 5th at 3:30 o'clock, the spirit of A. L. Boyd passed into the world "from whose bourne no traveler returns."
Mr. Boyd was attacked with pneumonia Thursday and grew worse from the beginning. A shadow was thrown over the town and community when his sudden death was announced, as he was familiarly known, having served some time and up to his death as postmaster. Mr. Boyd leaves a family and a host of friends to mourn his death. His remains were interred at Frederick, Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock.
