Death Of Mrs. Georgia Smith.
Speaking of the death of this estimable lady in our midst, the
Thomasville Enterprise makes the following remarks, which we adopt as our own, as they express our feelings and sentiments and those of this community:
"Died, on Sunday morning last, at her home in Valdosta, Mrs. Georgia Smith, widow of the late Simeon A. Smith, Jr., aged about 40 years, Mrs. Smith was well-known and had many relatives and dear friends in this community, and was well worthy of that love and esteem which was so strongly felt by them.
She leaves three children thus doubly orphaned, but who with her dear ones, have the strongest assurance that her life so faithful, loving and true while with them here, is not ended, but has only been transferred to that Heavenly home, where there is "no more sighing or sorrow," and where she will ever live in "joy
unspeakable and full of glory."
