Mrs. Anna Margaret Stroup, widow of Frank Stroup, died Wednesday night at the home of Samuel L. Suter, Petersville, following a brief illness, aged 70 years.
She is survived by the following daughters and a son: Mrs. Earl Lowell and Mrs. Howard Jennings, Burkittsville; Stanley Whitehair, Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; and these brothers and sisters: George Virtz, Brunswick, William Virtz, Barnem, W.Va.; Ms. William Donovan, Brunswick, and Miss Elizabeth Virtz, Petersville.
Funeral service was held at the Suter residence; interment was in Knoxville cemetery; arrangements were by C.H. Feete and Bro., funeral directors.
