Mrs. Smith

Mrs. Lorene Smith, 62, Attalla, Rt. 2, died yesterday following a sudden illness. Services will be tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. from Morgan Chapel with the Rev. D.L. Pruitt officiating. Burial in Rainbow Memorial Gardens.

Active pallbearers are B.B. Davis, Dave Davis, J.T. Bellew, Bill Holcomb, David Smith, Greg Tucker, David Williamson, Lester Robinson.

Survivors: daughters, Mrs. Paul Collett, Mrs. James George, Mrs. Ted Smith, Mrs. James Phillips, Mrs. David Leeth, Attalla; son, Marrell Smith, Attalla; sister, Mrs. Lottie Oliver, Attalla; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

Mrs. Smith was a native and lifelong resident of Etowah County.

The family will receive friends at Morgan Funeral Home after 6 p.m. today.
