Isaac and Elizabeth Miller married 1827/28 in IN where their 10 children were born. The family went to Huntsville MO in 1847 to outfit for crossing the plains. In the spring of 1848 they left in a train of 40 wagons for Oregon. The trip took 4 months 10 days.
Isaac's brother Christian Miller and family were also in the train. Isaac's wife Elizabeth and Christian's wife Mary Ann were sisters.
