Funeral services for Lillian U. Grohman, 66, of Sugar Land, were held 2 p.m. Saturday, July 1, at Garmany & Carden Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg. The Rev. John Alexander will officiate, with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Mrs. Grohman died Thursday at Methodist Hospital in Houston. She was born Jan. 19, 1923 in Sugar Land and worked for 46-1/2 years at Imperial Sugar Co. She was a past Democratic precinct chairperson.

Survivors include her husband, Albert Grohman of Sugar Land; a brother, Edwin Urban of Sugar Land; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Services were under the direction of the Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors in Rosenberg.
