Adolf J. Boysen, 69, of Antioch Township, formerly of Wilson road, Round Lake died Friday August 8 due to a sudden illness.
Mr. Boysen was born August 22, 1899 in Libertyville and was a life long resident of Lake country. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America, Libertyville Chapter and the Lake Cook Farm Bureau. He was a farmer for over 50 years.
Survivors include his widow, Estelle (Klinger), 2 sons Arthur at Grayslake and Allen at home, 1 daughter Mrs. Melvin (Sharon) Wicklein of Ingleside, 2 step sons Clarence Cozadd of Lake Villa and Edgar Cozadd of McHenry, 1 sister Mrs. Earl Stephenson of Chicago and 4 grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, August 11th at the Strang Funeral Chapel, Grayslake the Rev. Draper H. Bishop, Pastor of the United Protestant Church, Grayslake, officiated. Interment was in Grant Township Cemetery, west of Ingleside.
