DEATH OF MRS. PURNELL
SHENANDOAH HERALD 9-22-1896
Mrs. Mary Purnell of East Center St., Mahanoy City, died at her residence after four months illness. The cause of death was malignant ulceration. The deceased was the wife of Daniel Purnell, well known clothier of that town. The family formerly resided in Girardville. The funeral will take place Friday afternoon. Interment will be at Girardville.
