Alicia Sheppard Hudson, 89 of Chiefland, passed away at her home on March 28, 2013. She was born in Levy County to the late Monroe M. & Ada B. (Griffin) Sheppard on Oct. 8, 1923. Mrs. Hudson was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chiefland. She was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet (James) Watson of Lizella, GA and her son, Powell Hudson of Chiefland, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Falcon Hudson, son John "Jackie" Vinson Hudson and brothers Gerald and Samuel Sheppard.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 1st at 2:00 PM at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, Chiefland. Visitation will be one hour prior the service. Interment will take place at Chiefland Cemetery.
