FUNERAL SERVICES TUESDAY FOR LONGTIME CITY RESIDENT
Funeral services for Mrs. John Hice, 74, long-time resident of Webster City, will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m., at the United Brethren church here, the Rev. J. T. Stewart officiating. Burial in Graceland cemetery; McCauley Chapman in charge.

Mrs. Hice died Sunday morning; she had been in poor health for some time.

The former Mathilda Angstrom, she was born on a farm northeast of Stratford in this county and had resided in Hamilton county all of her life, with the exception of four years when she lived on a farm near Fairmont, Minn.

She was married to John Hice at her parents' home near Stratford, Aug. 31 1887.

A member of the United Brethren church in this city, she attended services faithfully and was active in church work as long as her health permitted.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Surviving are her husband, three sisters, Mrs. A.H. Greeley of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Clarence Rodine of Des Moines; and four brothers, Pete and Olaf Angstrom of Stratford, Albert of Staples, Minn., and John of Wilbur, Wash.
Matilda is the wife of John H. Hice.
