Final Rites Friday For Miss Garrity At St. Martin's

Funeral services for Miss Frances (Fannie) Garrity, 72, who died Tuesday, March
15, were held from the Devaney Funeral Home to St. Martin's church on Friday,
March 18.

The Rev. Robert Ament was celebrant of the Solemn Requiem High Mass; the Rev.
Daniel O'Sullivan was deacon and the Rev. Robert Levenhagen, sub-deacon. Father
O'Sullivan preached the sermon. Father Levenhagen was in charge of the graveside
services.

Pallbearers were Walter Knockel, Joe Knockel, Robert Boyle, Chris Conter, Ray
Koob and Louis Moran.

A lifelong resident of Cascade, Frances Garrity was the daughter of William and
Frances Kenny Garrity. A member of St Martin's parish, she also was a member of
the parish Rosary Society.

She is survived by one brother, William, of Denison, Iowa; one sister, Mrs.
Peter (Lucy) Roller of Mitchell, South Dakota; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters and 8 brothers.
