Martha Anna Eckert, 100, of Mechanicsburg, died Wednesday, April 14, 1999 in Seidle Memorial Hospital, Mechanicsburg.

Born April 19, 1898 in Silver Spring Township, she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Annie B. Stauffer Albright and the widow of Walter A. Eckert.

A member of First United Methodist Church in Mechanicsburg for 77 years, Mrs. Eckert was the past president of the Ida Lambert Sunday school class of her church and the Golden Age Club of Mechanicsburg.

Survivors include two daughters, Margaret E. Cook and Grace E. Brandt, both of Mechanicsburg; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granddaughters.

Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Myers Funeral Home, 37 E. Main St., Mechanicsburg, with the Rev. Donald J. Ciampa and Wendell S. Junkin officiating.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mechanicsburg Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made to the building fund of her church at 135 W. Simpson St., Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
