Babe was born on March 27, 1919 in Enterprise, Iowa to Henry and Rosa Stefani Lamberti. She was a graduate of Madrid High School in Madrid. On May 7, 1938, Babe married Joseph A. "Joe" Kruzich and their marriage was blessed with two children, Joseph Jr. and Christine. Babe was a loving, caring and devoted mother and "nona"; she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived and lovingly remembered by her son, Joseph A. Kruzich Jr. and his wife, Diana of The Colony, TX; daughter, Christine Nims and her husband, Steve of Urbandale; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Babe was preceded into eternal life by her husband of 66 years, Joe Kruzich in 2004; and two sisters, Irma Lamberti and Inez Stefani.
Visitation will be held after 3 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, at Iles Funeral Homes – Sundberg-Kirkpatrick Chapel in Madrid, where the family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. and a Parish Vigil Service will begin at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family has respectfully requested that any memorial contributions be made to either St. Malachy's Catholic Church or the Madrid Home.
