Bonnie Jo Glascock, 70, Centerville died Thursday, Oct. 5, 2000 at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born Aug. 31, 1930, in Chariton, Mo., the daughter of Rollin and Iva (Clinkenbeard) Hart. She married George Glascock Feb. 21, 1953, in Unionville, Mo. He survives. Also surviving are a son, George Glascock of Ottumwa; three sisters, Georgia Childers, Virginia Hoyt and Betty Fowler, all of Unionville, Mo.; and a grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Kevin Glascock, and six brothers, Paul, Francis, Frederick, David, Merrill and Rolllie Hart. She graduated from high school in Livonia, Mo. She worked at the Farrington Telephone Company in Centerville as an telephone operator and later at Raymond's Dairy Creme for 30 years. She was a member of Mt. Hermon Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville with the Rev. Carl Helen Officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati. Visitation will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. Saturday with family receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given into the Pleasant Hill Cemetery and contributions may be left at the funeral home.
