Ray H. Ashton

Funeral services for Ray H. Ashton, 71, native of Jackson county, were held Thursday in the Bachelor-Saulkner-Dart funeral home in Belleville. Graveside services were at Denison cemetery.

He died Sunday in Pueblo, Colo., while visiting a son.
Mr. Ashton was born in Jackson county and moved from Denison to Belleville in 1900.

Surviving are two sons, Keith Ashton of Belleville and Curtis Belleville of Pueblo; a daughter, Mrs. Gayle Martin of Yakima, Wash.; a sister, Mrs. Charles Rowe of Corona, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
