Betty M. Csikos (nee Kabot) Merrillville Betty M. Csikos (nee Kabot) age 72, of Merrillville, passed away Wednesday April 6, 2005. Survived by four daughters: Linda (Mel) Pickett of St. John, Darlene (Garry) Linos of Calumet City, IL, Nancy (Jeff) Davis of Brookville, MD, Barbara (Hector) Borges of New Llano, LA; six grandchildren: Kristopher and Ashlee Pickett, Delaney and Shawney Borges, Aaron and Jamie Davis; two sisters: Dolores (late Emil) Sporar, Patricia (late John) Babaush both of Chicago and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband William B. Csikos; parents Roman and Eva Kabot and sister Emily Babusiak. Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:30 a.m. April 9, 2005 at the Kuiper Funeral Home. Rev. Andrew Bailey, officiating. Burial Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday from 2-8 p. m. at the Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (2 blocks south of Ridge Road) Highland. Mrs. Csikos was retired from the Packaging Corporation in Griffith with over 20 years of service. She enjoyed crocheting and quilting and donated her many crafts to local charities. She loved her children and grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew her.
