Born April 24, 1930 in Sanborn, PA she was the daughter of Leon "Tubby" and Nancy (Hampton) Selfridge.
She was the former owner of a hair salon on Turnpike Ave. in Clearfield for 15 years. She was a member of the Primitive Methodist Church in Glen Richey where she taught children's Sunday School Class and also taught the Seniors class in the 1950's. She was a member and former treasurer of the Susqushanna Chapter of the Daughters of American Revolution and was currently a member of the DuBois Chapter.
She was a good wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband Cecil D. Beish whom she married on September 25, 1946 in Cumberland, MD, two sons Preston Duane Beish and his wife Barbara of Grampian, PA and C. Greg Beish of Clearfield, six grandchildren Christine Beish, Melanie Beish Lenz, Matthew Duane Beish, Erin Beish, Brian G. Beish and Amanda Laine Beish, and a brother Roger Selfridge and his wife Marilyn of Clearfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Morley Neil Selfridge and Bobby Selfridge and a sister Judy Selfridge Bloom.
