Spokesman-Review, The (Spokane, WA) - Wednesday, July 18, 2012 Deceased Name: KRUSE, KRUSE, Harwood H. "Hardy" (Age 85) Passed away July 15, 2012, at his home in Spokane, Washington. He was born to John and Rosella Kruse in Lincoln, Nebraska on December 19, 1926. Hardy served in the Merchant Marines during WWII. For 35 years he owned and operated The Sports Cove, a full line sporting goods store, which evolved into a fly fishing shop. Hardy is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lucy; sons, Steve (Bonnie) Kruse of Spokane, and Russ (Jo Lynn) Kruse of West Jordan, Utah; daughters Cyndi (Mike) Hanson of Old Town, Idaho, and Debbie Lockhart of Salem, Oregon; sisters Jonelle Kemmerling and Twilia Gagnon; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. There will be a private family celebration of Hardy's life. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Hardy's memory to Family Home Care & Hospice, 22820 E. Appleway, Liberty Lake, WA 99019.
