Robin Christensen (1952-2012)
As the sun rose on Monday, March 19th, 2012, Robin K. Christensen, our beloved daughter, sister, grandmother and great friend, lost her courageous battle with cancer. She was born to her parents, Henry and Barbara Hendricks on July 4th, 1952 in Pensacola, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her beloved father Henry. She is survived by her mother Barbara Hendricks, brothers, Larry and Rodney Hendricks, her two children Kimberly and Bryan; and grandchildren, Felicia, Cheyenne, Jonathan and Ryan.
The family moved frequently and finally came to the Santa Maria Valley in the Spring of 1962. With Robin, it was her love of family first and lifelong friends. She was loyal, genuine, honest, trustworthy, kind and unselfish. She chose a career in the nursing profession, first caring for the elderly, and then her greatest love was caring for newborn and premature infants. Her Passion for Renaissance period, the powers of crystals, and her spirituality connections to Angels energized her to constantly strive for balance with nature and life.
The Hendricks family invites you to attend a celebration of life on Wednesday, March 28th, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Lori Family Mortuary located at 915 East Stowell Road in Santa Maria.
