Funeral services for Larry Dale Ayers, age 59 of Pittsburg, were at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro. Burial was in the Good Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Ayers was born April 24, 1951 in Pittsburg to Roy and Lorayne Winkle Ayers. He was an electrician for Luminant, a member of the local IBEW Chapter 2337, and was a Baptist.
He died Friday, Feb. 25 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Brenda Joyce Ayers.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Bryan and Rebecca Ayers of Russellville, Ark. and Jeffery and Pamela Ayers of Clarksville, Ark.; a brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Donna Ayers of Atlana; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Gail Mitchell of Winnsboro and Marsha and Mike Kull of Scroggins.
Pallbearers were Billy Northcutt, Bill Lee, Walt Melton, Billy Molten, Charles Cone, and William Kear.
