William A. Harris died at his home in Springfield, Tuesday,, April 19, at 6 a.m. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ada Harris; one daughter, Mrs. Nadine Hassler of Springfield; one son James L., of Muskogee, Okla.; the father and mother of Maxwell; two sisters, Miss Mabel Harris and Mrs. Josie Reynolds, and one brother, Clifton Harris of Maxwell; also three grandchildren.
Remains were removed to Metcalf's undertaking rooms and later to the residence, where funeral services were held yesterday afternoon, conducted by Rev. H. M. Hildebrandt. The remains were brought overland to Waverly, where final funeral services were held at East cemetery, conducted by Rev. W. H. Fuller, pastor of the Congregational church.
