John Franklin Adcock, of Taylorville, and formerly a resident of Waverly, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harold Parks, in Taylorville, Tuesday morning at 1:10. He was 76 years of age, and death was due to complications.
He was preceded in death by his wife, and is survived by the following Children: Mrs. John Knight of Waverly, Mrs. Jesse Handshy of Nokomis, Mrs. Harold Parks of Taylorville, and Mrs. Eugene Smith of Rockford. A stepson, Rolly Hoover, of Pleasant Plains, also survives.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 at the Christian church in Waverly, Rev. Robert E. Henry, Pastor of the Taylorville Christian church, officiating.
Burial was in East Cemetery.
