Lonnie William "Peanut" Duncan, 69, of Lake City, passed away Dec. 2 at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. He was born June 11, 1940 in Anderson County to the late Rev. Cartus "Jack" and Lillian Utley Duncan. Lonnie was a member of the Willow Brook Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, woodworking, and spending time with his family and friends.
Lonnie is survived by wife of 48 years, Ann Duncan of Lake City; daughters, Donna Lay of Lake City, Pam Weaver of Lake City, Becky West and husband, Scotty of Lake City; grandchildren, Alex and Hannah Weaver of Lake City.
Funeral services will be at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 4 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Bill Tackett officiating. Interment will be at 10 a.m. on Dec. 5 in the Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. before funeral services.
