Gertrude Wesley, 81, 2562 Hwy. 39, Somerset, died Sunday, February 5, at Humana Hospital Lake Cumberland following a brief illness.

She was a member of Nelson Valley Baptist Church.

Born December 4, 1902, in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of Harlan and Nora Roy Butt.

She was married September 6, 1923, in Somerset to William Wesley, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include three children, Maurice Wesley, Berea, Helen Wesley, Science Hill; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A son, Harold Wesley, and three brothers, Mitchell, Will and Arnold Butt, preceded her in death.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Elder Wendell Butt officiating.

Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
