Sympathy is extended to Mrs. Arthur Backlund of Volin, Mrs. AW Jensen, and Mrs. SB Salberg of our community in the death of Mr. Backlund at his home early Sunday morning. Mr. Backlund was the only brother of Mrs. Jensen and Mrs. Salberg.

Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Schempp attended the funeral of her uncle, Art Backlund, at Pleasant Valley church Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Jensen went to Volia Sunday evening where they visited Mrs. Arthur Backlund.
Many folks from our community attended the funeral services on Wednesday afternoon at Pleasant Valley Lutheran Church for Arthur Backlund, brother of Mrs. AW Jensen of the Rockfield district. We extend our sympathy to Mrs. Backlund and the family.
