The 1910 Census indicates Kate had 12 children, nine living, and they had been married for 44 years. The nine children are: Samuel Smith, Jr.; Lilla; Howard Francis; Granfield; Allison; Rena; Raymond; and Kate Hoover. We do not have the names of the deceased children. The 1910 Census shows that Samuel S. Hoover was married twice, but we have no information on another marriage.
